The guys arrive at the yard at 745 sharp to unlock and load up the equipment for the days work ahead. Job sheets for each task are in the truck with equipment lists so nothing is forgotten!
Depending on the location of the job we always aim to be on site between 830 -845.
After a chat with the customer to introduce ourseleves and check what they would like us to do, it's time to get the truck and woodchipper in postion and get cracking.
Obviously every job is different, some take 2 hours some can take 2 weeks. It's all part of what we love about what we do. Going to new places, meeting new people and carrying out a wide range of tasks from formative fruite tree prunes to large tree removals with stump grinding.
Equally we love returning to repeat customers too. Having a catch up over a cup of tea before getting the hedges looking sharp for the summer. Our business is built on repeat customers and recommendations to new ones. End of the day, we tip off at one of our tip sites in or around Salisbury where our woodchip is recycled by the local farmers. Then back to base, unload, fuel and grease up the kit ready for another busy day out and about in Hampshire/Wiltshire.
The guys head home and I head into the office for a couple of hours, emailing customers or invoicing for the weeks work. I set out the plan for the next day pop it in the truck ready for the morning then it's time to call it a day!!
